Variable gain amplifier comprising two amplification and recentering branches, each of the branches comprising a resistive variable resistance means, an input terminal intended to receive a signal, an output terminal, a digitally controlled variable current source and a follower transistor, the gate of the follower transistor being coupled to the input terminal, the drain being coupled to the output terminal and the source being coupled to a terminal of the resistive means and to an output of the current source, the source of variable current being able to be controlled by a compensation current control unit (9) and the resistive means being able to be controlled by a variable gain controller (5).
