The thermoelectric machine (MTE1) comprises a thermoelectric generator (GTE1) comprising first and second thermoelectric modules (TE1, TE2) arranged in series inside the generator, first and second hot exchangers (EX1H, EX2H) connected in series and connected to the thermoelectric modules so as to heat them, first and second cold exchangers (EX1c, EX2c) connected to the thermoelectric modules so as to cool them, and a first combustion chamber (CH1) ensuring a first combustion and producing combustion gases (EG1) circulating in a combustion gas circulation circuit. According to the invention, the machine also comprises a second combustion chamber (CH2) inserted between the hot exchangers in the combustion gas circulation circuit, the second combustion chamber providing post combustion for reheating the combustion gases (EG1 , EG2).
