This tool for assisting with the installation of a fire seal (4) in a gap (3) between at least two construction parts (1, 2) in particular of the building, is characterized in that it comprises a part in the form of a base (7) of generally angled section, adapted to be placed on an edge of one of the construction parts and from which extends a portion (8) in the form of an inclined portion in direction opposite to the gap, guiding the seal towards the gap during its installation.
