The present invention relates to a photocrosslinkable composition or to a photocrosslinkable coating paste for textiles, as well as to a process for coating said textiles. The photocrosslinkable compositions and coating pastes according to the invention make it possible in particular to strengthen the durability of textiles (fabrics, etc.), their aesthetic appearance (gloss), give them new properties and can stiffen them to facilitate integration of new features. The invention also relates to the use of a photocrosslinkable composition or a coating paste according to the invention for coating a textile as well as a textile coated with a coating composition or paste according to the invention.
