The present invention relates to a flare (1) for the combustion of gases, comprising: - a chimney (2) which delimits a burning chamber (3) open at an upper end (5), - a burner (9) positioned in the combustion chamber (3), comprising at least one gas injector (11) and ignition means for igniting the gas at the outlet of the injector in order to generate a flame (13, 20 ) in the burning chamber (3), at least one coil (15) for circulation of the gas to be burned comprising a winding of turns (16) which extends in the burning chamber (3) along a vertical axis ( A) of the flare around the gas injector (11), the coil (15) comprising an inlet (17) configured to be connected to a source of the gas to be burned, and an outlet connected to the inlet of the burner ( 9) in order to feed the flame (13, 20), the gas circulating in the coil (15) being heated by said flame, the flare (1) being characterized in that it comprises further means for supplying air into the burning chamber, said air supplying means being configured to deliver into the burning chamber (3) a forced air flow in the direction of the flame in ascending vertical direction.
