The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a turbomachine part (1) made of composite material, the method comprising the following steps: weaving a plurality of wires for producing a preform (10) with a fibrous reinforcement, shaping the preform (10) so as to obtain a geometry of the desired turbomachine part, and injection of a matrix into an enclosure of injection in which the shaped preform is installed. According to the invention, the method further comprises a step of applying a sheet of fabric of metallic material to an edge (12) of the preform (10) intended to form a leading edge (5) before the injection step so as to obtain a metal reinforcement structure integrated into the leading edge (5) of the turbomachine part.
