Liquid presence detector comprising a piezoelectric vibrating device (6) and a membrane (8) vibrated by the vibrating device, an electrical circuit comprising the vibrating device (6), a resistor electrically mounted in parallel with the vibrating device (6), and a capacitor (14) electrically connected in series with the vibrating device (6) and the resistor (12), and a control unit (UC) comprising means for applying an input signal (E) to the electrical circuit (CE), means for measuring an output signal (S) and means for calculating the gain of the electrical circuit as a function of frequency and means for processing said gain configured to detect a resonant frequency, and to determine the temperature from a relation between the modulus of the average non-resonance gain and the temperature.
