The present invention relates to a method for digitizing a signal (s (t)), said signal to be digitized, the method comprising at least one step of: - selection of a frequency d a part of the signal, a frequency being selected when at the frequency considered, the amplitude of the signal part is maximum in absolute value, - spectral spreading of the signal part according to a technique using said at least one frequency selected for obtaining a spread signal portion, - digitizing a signal obtained from the spread signal by an analog-digital converter (30), to obtain a spread digital signal, and - recombining the spread digital signal.
