The invention relates to a device and a method for internal treatment of wastewater pipes, having internal walls covered with deposits, said treatment device comprising a distribution conduit (62 ) having a free outlet end (64), said distribution conduit (62) being adapted to be engaged inside said discharge column (10) and to be supplied with a treatment composition. Said device (36) further comprises an inflatable upstream shutter (40) installed around said distribution duct (62) upstream of said free outlet end (64) and an inflatable downstream shutter (42) connected remotely to said upstream shutter ( 40), said free outlet end (64) opening out between said shutters (40, 42). Said shutters (40, 42) are inflated when said distribution duct (62) is engaged inside said evacuation column (10) in order to be able to deliver said composition locally between said shutters (40, 42).
