The invention relates to a prefabricated stackable box whose compartments are intended to receive a filling of various materials and whose overall rigidity of the structure composed with several boxes is ensured by vertical and horizontal stiffeners and reinforced concrete, providing at the same time advantages of confinement to materials placed in the compartments of the caissons. The caisson, according to the invention, is particularly intended for the realization of civil engineering works in retaining wall, in protection of banks, of watercourse crossings, in containment works or in burial of clean materials or variously polluting.
