Method of manufacturing a part of motor vehicle equipment and associated piece of equipment The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a part of motor vehicle equipment, said part comprising: a first composite layer (12); and a second porous layer (14), integral with the first layer; said method comprising the following steps: - forming a stack comprising: a mat comprising ceramic fibers (22); a porous web (30) comprising open cells (32); and a fusible web, disposed between the fibrous mat and the porous web and comprising a polymeric material (26); then - heating and compressing said stack, causing melting and impregnation of the polymer material (26) in the fibrous mat and in the open cells (32) of the porous sheet; then - cooling of the stack, causing the fibrous mat and the porous sheet impregnated with said polymer material to join together.
