Connecting an electronic component to an interactive textile

To connect an interactive textile 102 to an electronic component 203, loose conductive threads 208 are arranged by a comb (502, Fig 6A) and held in place by a film (504, Fig 6B) to form a ribbon. They are then stripped of insulation by a hot blade and bonded to the component using a hot bar prepped with solder. They may then be sealed and encapsulated. The sealing may be by epoxy using a multi-headed nozzle (1104, Fig 11).
