Connection structure includes proximal end 11 of needle body 1, metallic connector 3 fixed to proximal end 11, and an end of flexible cable 2 attached to the connector, the connector 3 includes shaft 31 and head 32 with diameter greater than the shaft 31, proximal end 11 of the needle body 1 has hole 12 into which shaft 31 of the connector 3 is fitted. Head 32 of connector 3 has cable recess 320 accommodating end of the cable 2. The cable recess 320 includes first recess 321 adjacent to an opening 36 of cable recess 320 and second recess 322 adjacent to and with diameter greater than the first recess 321. The end 22 of cable 2 includes first portion 221 accommodated in first recess 321 and second portion 222 connected to the first portion 221 and accommodated in second recess 322. The second portion 222 has diameter greater than the first portion 221. There may be an auxiliary member 4 made of resin disposed between the needle body 1 and connector 3, comprising tubular shaft inserted into the hole 12 of the needle body and a tubular flange with greater diameter than the tubular shaft.
