A shipping container assembly 10 comprises a first outer container 100, formed by folding blank 1000, a second inner container 200, and a method of coupling the two. The inner container 200 is arranged to receive an article A and the outer container 100 is arranged to receive the inner container 200. The outer container 100 comprises a first part 150 of the coupling member and the second container 200 comprises a second part 250 of the coupling member. The shipping container assembly 10 can be coupled (figure 2a-c) and uncoupled. The coupling parts may be male and female parts and the female part may be an aperture 150 covered by a second sheet of material 110A. Preferably, the inner container 200 is spaced apart from at least one wall of the outer container 100. A dimension (L1, figure 3) of the first container 100 may correspond to a dimension of the second container (L2, figure 5). The inner container 200 may be formed from a blank (2000, figure 6), it could be expandable and outer container 100 may hold more than one inner container 200.
