A sealing device 10 for use with a fluid conduit 42 in a heating system comprises a body 12 for mounting over an aperture in a building. A fluid conduit is able to extend through the body via an inlet aperture (18, fig. 2) and outlet apertures 14. The body includes a pair of outlet apertures, with each allowing a respective fluid conduit to exit the body. The body further comprises a first part (16, fig. 1) and a movable part 34 which define the pair of apertures, the movable part being movable from an open position to a closed position relative to the first part. During installation a loop of the fluid conduit is fed through an aperture in a building substrate, and through the inlet aperture of the sealing device with the moveable part in the open position. The sealing device is fastened to the building substrate, and a loop of fluid conduit is placed in the outlets. The moveable part is then closed, creating a seal between the fluid conduit and the outlet apertures. The conduit loop is then cut to form two separate lengths of fluid conduit which are attached to a radiator back plate.
