The present application relates to a use of red Nocardia cell wall skeleton for preparing a pharmaceutical for treating lichen planus. Specifically disclosed is: a red Nocardia cell wall skeleton effectively reduces the eroded area of lichen planus, reducing the pain level, and after use, exhibits good therapeutic efficacy. In the first report of the present application, the cell wall skeleton of Nocardia red is used to treat erosive oral lichen planus, and its efficacy and safety has been preliminarily observed.
