A communication method and device. The method comprises: a first terminal device transmitting sidelink data to N terminal devices; the first terminal device receiving, on a first feedback resource, a positive acknowledgement (ACK) transmitted by at least one second terminal device of the N terminal devices, wherein the first feedback resource is a resource allocated to the N terminal devices for use in ACK feedback, and the at least one second terminal device is the terminal of the N terminal devices that correctly receives the sidelink data; and/or the first terminal device receiving, on a second feedback resource, a negative acknowledgement (NACK) transmitted by at least one third terminal device of the N terminal devices, wherein the second feedback resource is a resource allocated to the N terminal devices for use in NACK feedback, and the at least one third terminal device is the terminal device of the N terminal devices that incorrectly receives the sidelink data. The method and device in the present application can reduce the overhead for feedback resources and is applicable in the field of Internet-of-vehicles such as V2X or D2D.
