Disclosed are a hair condition monitoring system and a computing apparatus for executing same. A hair condition monitoring system according to a disclosed embodiment comprises: a curling iron for photographing at least one of the hair and scalp of a user to generate hair-related captured images; a user terminal for receiving the hair-related captured images from the curling iron and generating a hair-related captured image packet comprising the hair-related captured images and user-related information of the user; and a server for receiving the hair-related captured image packet from the user terminal, extracting, from the hair-related captured image packet, the hair-related captured images, and analyzing the hair-related captured images to generate hair-related condition information of the user.
