A method for visually displaying voice processing status is implemented in an electronic device. The electronic device includes at least an array of full color LEDs, one or more microphones and a speaker. The electronic device collects audio inputs through one or more microphones from the environment close to the electronic device, and processes the audio inputs by identifying voice inputs from a user in the environment and / or by responding to the voice inputs.
