PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a damage of an aircraft with high accuracy with a small number of sensors.SOLUTION: A position determination device includes: a classification preparation unit 11 that classifies use environment information into a plurality of categories, where similar pieces of use environment information showing use environment of airframes of aircrafts determined on the basis of types of aircrafts and flight states of the aircrafts are classified into the same category; an extraction unit 14 that extracts a category into which an aircraft as a diagnostic object is classified among the plurality of categories; and a determination unit 15 that determines arrangement positions for measurement devices relative to the aircraft as the diagnostic object on the basis of past data that was acquired when the aircraft is operated in the use environment classified into the category and that changes in accordance with use environment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
