摘要

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a poly(meth)acrylate polymer having a high functional group introduction rate and a controllable molecular weight by allowing an acid to coexist during polymerization. [Solution] A compound having a thiol group and a functional group other than the thiol group in a polymerization medium containing at least one acid (A) selected from an inorganic acid and an organic acid (excluding the case of the compound (B)) (B ), a polymerization initiator (C), and a (meth)acrylate monomer (D) are subjected to a radical polymerization reaction to produce a (meth)acrylate polymer having a functional group at one end.
