The device (D) has a connection tool (O3) arranged to permit a user to select display windows (F1, F2). The tool (O3) is assembled with another connection tool (O1) of the windows such that selection of sizes by the user using the tool (O1) induces a selection of the sizes by a display window administration tool (MA) at level of a slave window. The tool (O3) is assembled with a third connection tool (O2) of the windows such that selection of temporal references by the user using the tool (O2) induces the selection of the temporal references by the tool (MA) at level of the slave window.
