The present disclosure relates generally to the use of avatar and image data for enhanced user interaction. In some examples, an avatar that depends on the user status is generated and displayed with a message associated with the user status. In some examples, the device captures image information for scanning the object to create a 3D model of the object. The device determines an algorithm for the 3D model based on the captured image information and provides visual feedback regarding the additional image data required by the algorithm to build the 3D model. In some examples, the behavior of the application on the device is limited based on whether or not the legitimate user is identified as using the device based on the captured image data. In some examples, depth data is used to combine the two sets of image data.
