The present invention relates to a method for producing a liquid composition for oral cavity in which ²-glycyrrhetinic acid is stably dispersed or dissolved to exhibit an increased transparency and which also can ensure a sufficient amount of ²-glycyrrhetinic acid adsorbed on gingiva, even if the amount of a cationic surfactant or an anionic surfactant is restricted; and such a liquid composition for oral cavity.
