PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial coating and a method for producing the antibacterial coating. In particular, a method of forming an organocatalyst mediated polyether coating is provided, wherein a first solution including a bissilylated dithiol and a fluoroarene is prepared. A second solution containing an organic catalyst is prepared. The first solution and the second solution are mixed to form a mixed solution.
