To provide a generation method of a dynamic pathway map (DPM) that can be currently used for determining characteristic determination, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and outcome of disease and failure.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: characterizing each pathway element by its involvement in at least one pathway; providing access to an operation engine coupled with a pathway element database; associating a first pathway element with at least one priori known attribute using the operation engine; associating a second pathway element with at least one tentative attribute using the operation engine; and correlating the first pathway element and second pathway element and deriving a DPM having reference pathway activation information on a particular pathway from a plurality of measurement attributes for a plurality of elements of a patient sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
