Problem to be solved: to provide a SAW resonator which reduces the influence of the lateral spurious mode by bending the transverse mode by bending the TC -- SAW resonator waveguide.The SAW resonator 10 includes an IDT electrode 12 and elastic reflectors 14a and 14b.The elastic reflectors 14a and 14b are separated from each other by the gaps 15a and 15b from the IDT electrode 12.The IDT electrode 12 includes a first bus bar 16, a first IDT finger 17 extending from the first bus bar 16, a second IDT finger 19 extending from the second bus bar 18 and the second bus bar 18.The first bus bar 16 is curved or arcuate.Similarly, the second bus bar 18 is also curved or arcuate.These IDT fingers are shown in parallel to one another.These IDT fingers have substantially the same length as each other.The curvature in the waveguide of the SAW resonator 10 can suppress the lateral spurious mode of the SAW resonator 10.Diagram
