A system according to the present disclosure includes a display unit and a processor, the processor communicating with the display unit and an ultrasound imaging device for generating images from ultrasound data representing the body structure and fluid flowing within the body structure. The processor generates vector field data including an axial velocity component and a lateral (or lateral) velocity component of a fluid flowing in the body structure, and based on the axial velocity component and the lateral velocity component, the body structure based on the axial velocity component and the lateral velocity component.
