A filter housing (20, 20a) having an inner housing space (21, 21a) adapted to receive a tubular filter element (5, 5a, 5b), said filter housing (20, 20a) having an inlet (24, 24a), a first outlet (23, 23a) located in a first end (36, 36a) of said filter housing (20, 20a), and a second outlet (30, 30a) located in a second end (28, 28a) of said filter housing (20, 20a), wherein said second end (28, 28a) is located opposite to said first end (36, 36a) in relation to said inner housing space (21, 21a), and said second outlet (30, 30a) has an offset position in relation to said first outlet (23, 23a) as seen in a transversal direction of said filter housing (20, 20a), wherein said housing further comprises housing lid (35, 35a) encompassing said second outlet (30, 30a), said housing lid (35, 35a) comprising a protruding pipe portion (31, 31a) at said second outlet (30, 30a) for connection to an adjoining pipe (34), wherein said protruding pipe portion (31a) has an extension into said filter housing (20a).
