A guide device is provided which is designed to guide the boring device in the foundation pile and a first end of which is arranged on the lower body and a second end has a sliding element. The guide device has an arm on which the sliding element is arranged, and the arm of the guide device can be pivoted from a first position to a second position, in which the sliding element is engaged with the wall of the foundation pile, by means of a drive.
