This thesis entitled “The Role of City Narcotic Bureau on Rehabilitation for NarcoticudMisused Victim in Yogyakarta”. It rise issue weather the role of city narcotic bureau onudrehabilitation for narcotic misused victim in Yogyakarta has in line with provision in forcesudand are there obstacles to play the role within rehabilitation for those who misused theudnarcotic in Yogyakarta. Results of the study are expected provide input for scienceudparticularly due to the role of city narcotic bureau on rehabilitation for narcotic misusedudvictim in Yogyakarta. This is a normative legal study. The research object is non-structuraludinstitution under and directly responsible to mayor/regent. City Narcotic Bureau is foundedudby National Narcotic Bureau that recognize the severity of narcotic distribution in Indonesiaudand unable to control entire narcotic distribution in Indonesia. The role of narcotic bureau onudrehabilitation issue performed through medical and social rehabilitations. Providingudassistance for victim during rehabilitation, monitoring the victim at beginning of his/herudrehabilitation till completed. Providing socialization concerning the risk and impacts ofudnarcotic misused. This socialization intended for society able to recognize and open theirudhorizon concerning narcotic jeopardies. The obstacles that faces by City Narcotic Bureau onudrehabilitation for narcotic misused in Yogyakarta are which the victims remain stereotypes asudfamily disgrace thus it complicates the rehabilitation and when those victims live in brokenhomeudor get inappropriate intention from their family.
