Sobre o presidente do conselho executivo da escola : um estudo na região do Algarve

O presente estudo pretende aprofundar os vários aspectos relacionados como Presidente do Conselho Executivo da Escola.Assentou-se numa questão de partida, que orientou a nossa investigação, e àqual procurámos dar resposta:Qual o retrato-tipo do Presidente do Conselho Executivo naregião do Algarve, e qual a opinião crítica sobre os aspectosque envolvem o seu processo de selecção e recrutamento?Procurando cumprir estas intenções, desenvolveu-se uma investigação dotipo quantitativo, dirigida aos Presidentes do Conselho Executivo da região doAlgarve, que tenciona apresentar uma caracterização global, a nível pessoal eprofissional, bem como, recolher a sua opinião crítica sobre os aspectosrelacionados com o seu processo de selecção e recrutamento. Tenta, assim,conhecer e relacionar alguns aspectos relacionados com este actor.A nível metodológico, desenvolveu-se a investigação num planocontextualizador e caracterizador, suportado pelos dados colhidos numquestionário construído para o efeito.Após análise dos resultados obtidos, verifica-se que foi possível encontrar umconjunto de vários aspectos característicos e regulares, que nos permitemapresentar um quadro com os traços do Presidente do Conselho Executivo doAlgarve. ABSTRACT: The present study aims to deepen several aspects that are related to theschool Headmaster.To fulfil our purpose we have started by making a question, which has guidedour investigation and to which we tried to find the answer:Which is the headmaster’s typifying – portrait in the Algarveregion, and which is the critical opinion about the aspects thatsurround their selection and recruitment procedures?Aiming to accomplish these intentions, a quantitative investigation, addressedto all the Headmasters in the Algarve region, has been carried out, in order togive a global characteristic view, either at a professional and at a personallevel. This investigation also aimed to collect their critical opinion about theseveral aspects that surround their selection and recruitment.It tries, therefore, to acknowledge and connect some aspects related to thischaracter.At a methodological level, a characterising investigation in context has beencarried out. This investigation has been supported by the collected dataobtained through a questionnaire developed for this purpose.After the analysis of the obtained data, it was possible to find out a whole ofseveral aspects, that are characteristic and regular, and that allow us to show aboard with some specific features from the Headmasters in the Algarve region.
