Knjižara i antikvarnica Nikole i Sretena Kašikovića

For a long time, Nikola T. Kašiković (1927-1961) was the editor and the owner of the magazine "Bosanska Vila" (Bosnian Nymph,1885-1914), from Sarajevo and in 1925, together with his son, he found a Bookshop, a Stationery store and an Antique shop. The Bookshop " Kod Katedrale" (By the Cathedral), as known to the Inhabitants of Sarajevo, had very valuable and rare books on its bookshelves, a part of the private library of Nikola T. Kašiković. After a sudden death of Sreten Kašiković, in 1927, and soon after the death of his father Nikola, the Book and Antique shop was closed. The rich and rare Book Holdings were sold out at a public auction by juridical decision. In such a way, the entire Library of Nikola Kašiković, carefully collected for over a half century, only in one day, has disappeared without any traces.
