摘要

The purpose of this report is to provide data identifying task-competency linkages for use in designing training curricula for Federal executives. These linkages are based on rational judgments made by a panel of senior executives in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and a second review by experts in managerial assessment center design. This report is part of a larger project to provide technical assistance to the Human Resources Development Group (HRDG) on obtaining and accessing information from the Leadership Effectiveness Survey (LES) (Gregory, Anderson, Armitage, Gast, Kiefer, McCauley, and Park, 1992). This larger project established a competency continuum of needed capabilities across the supervisor, manager, and executive levels. Task-competency linkage reports also are available for Federal supervisors and managers.
