摘要

The aim of the present work is to establish tools for the hydraulic and thermal design of a heat recovery unit for the flue gases with main attention to partial condensation heat transfer. The project has considered both local heat and mass transfer measurements of the finned tubes in cross flow, reported by Uv (1992), and overall hydraulic and thermal performance measurements of complete heat exchangers (present report). Measurements are carried out using an eight row deep and 5 row high staggered finned tube bundle in cross flow. Aluminium tubes with 28 mm diameter and 10 mm fin height are used. Moist air is used with Reynolds numbers between 510,000 and 4100,000, water vapor contents up to 10% by weight and inlet gas temperatures between 50 to 100C.
