The Mission conducted an assessment of the development needs and prospects of theeconomies of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip (commonly referred to as the Occupied Territories (OT)). Volume IV reviews the evolution and structure of the agricultural sector in the OT; analyzes its current characteristics; assesses OT competitiveness in the immediate and longer term; outlines the main policy options and their implications; and provides a preliminary assessment of sectoral financial and technical assistance (TA) needs.
