Design Recovery Prototype: The Recognition Engine

摘要

A prototype has been built that is intended to recognize instances of abstractdata structures in programs. This document describes the working of the recognition engine of this prototype. The engine uses a rule base that contains patterns to be recognized in the graph. It maintains a record of which parts of the patterns have been found at any moment.
