Handbook and Software Tools for Electronic Circuit Protection

A comprehensive handbook is developed for electronic circuit protection. Thishandbook offers a tool to aid engineers in the analysis and design of protection circuits for overstresses to electrical systems, which are caused by overvoltages. The important issues of overvoltage threats, nonlinear protection components, and applications of protective devices are detailed in the handbook. Five copies of an electronic version of the handbook, which can be installed on IBM compatible computers with 486 or Pentium CPU, are submitted with this report.
