摘要

Within Project 3.2 'Reinforced Concrete' of the HCM grant ALERT 'Geomaterials' anumber of experimental tests have been chosen as benchmarks for examination of computational models (M. di Prisco 1995). The research aims at the improvement of understanding of the dowel action of reinforcement in RC structures. The present work is focused on the investigation of shear resistance mechanisms in reinforced concrete and the assessment of the predictive capabilities of the employed models.
