Army Information Resources Management Program: Information Management. ArmyRegulation 25-1

This regulation on the management of the Information Mission Area (IMA) has beenrevised. It prescribes policies and responsibilities for the management of information and information systems in accordance with the IMA concept throughout the Army. It is a consolidation of several regulations which addressed information resources management in the sustaining base, strategic, and the theater/tactical environments. This regulation also prescribes information management policies, guidance, and responsibilities in support of the Army Command and Control System (ACCS) Program and describes the ACCS as it relates to the IMA.
