Water Resources of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, Baraga County, Michigan

This report describes the results of a study of the physical and chemicalcharacteristics of ground and surface-water resources of KBIC, and relates these characteristics to geology, hydrology, and land use. The report is based on data collected in 1991 and 1997, and provides information that will be useful to water-resource planners and managers in developing strategies for water-quality protection and water-supply development. Results of chemical analyses of water samples from wells, streams, and the Assinins Wetland are included in tables at the back of the report.
