National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Pesticide211 Active Ingredient Production: Summary of Public Comments and Responses

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed national emission211u001estandards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) for pesticide active ingredient 211u001e(PAI) production under authority of Section 112 of the Clean Air Act. Public 211u001ecomments were received from 34 sources consisting mainly of PAI manufacturers, 211u001etrade associations, and other interested parties. All the comments that were 211u001esubmitted and the responses to these comments are summarized in this document. 211u001eThis summary is the basis for the revisions made to the standards between 211u001eproposal and promulgation.
