Achieving Mission Agility Through IT. A Resource Paper Sponsored by the Association for Federal Information Resources Management

Federal government agencies are facing new dynamics and accelerating rates of change. Policies, laws, and requirements of citizensall are in constant flux. The President's Management Agenda calls for performance with results, not just process. This means agencies must have mission agility, the ability to turn on a dime as programs and needs change. The AFFIRM round table participants explored eight questions about how information technology, properly planned, funded, and deployed, can help government agencies achieve the agility and performance they need to cope with and satisfy the quickly changing needs and requirements of our society.
