U.S. Department of Education Program Performance Plan, FY 2006

The strategic goals and objectives set forth in the Department of Educations FY 2002 - 2007 Strategic Plan form the context for the broad outcomes that the Department believes should characterize American education. We continue our commitment to these 6 goals and the 26 related objectives. The Department administers more than 150 programs in support of these goals and objectives. This FY 2006 Program Performance Plan presents the individual program performance plans, which align to the individual program's provisions and the audience that it serves. In addition, selected measures from these plans have been identified as key measures at the strategic level. These strategiclevel measures are presented in our FY 2006 Performance Plan, a component of the FY 2006 Performance Budget.
