In this report, transport performance figues for the year 2007 are presented together with other relevant Norwegian transport statistics. Domestic passenger Transport performance increased by 2.6. per cent in 2007. Road traffic rose by 3.1. per cent public transport by tramway and rail incraased. in 2007. Domestic iar transport also showed an upward trend. international passessnger transport in 2007 was higher than ever, about 55 million trips being taken. Domestic freight transport increased by 1.4 per cent in 2007, all three modes sea, road and rail showing considerable growth. the volume of freight to and fom the mainland increased slightly in 2006. Oil and gas exported directly from the Norwegian contineantal shelf decreased by three per cent in 2007.
