Uintah County's Proposed Road Upgrades. Location: Salt Lake Meridian, Vernal, Utah. Environmental Assessment

Uintah County is proposing to upgrade the class D county claimed two-track road that runs north easterly from Archy Bench road in T. 10 S., R. 22 E., sec.26 to the NBU 1022-25D proposed well pad in T. 10 S., R. 22 E., sec. 25, NW NW . The total proposed road upgrade is 3,075-feet with 2,250-feet of upgrade proposed on BLM managed lands. Uintah County also plans to upgrade the road north of the well pad into T. 10 S., R. 22 E., sec. 24. The upgraded disturbance would be approximately 35-foot wide; however, Uintah County and KMOG plan to increase the running surface from 16 to 18-feet for the safety of passing trucks. The road would be constructed to Gold Book standards. Kerr McGee Oil and Gas Onshore LP (KMOG) is proposing to install an 8-inch surface gas pipeline from the NBU 1022-25D well pad (which includes the NBU 1022-25D2DS, NBU 1022-25D3AS, NBU 1022-25D3DS, NBU 1022-25E2AS, NBU 1022-25C2DS, NBU 1022-25C3AS, NBU 1022-25C3DS, and NBU 1022-25F2AS) to an existing surface 10-inch gas pipeline (F-200). Uintah County is also proposing to upgrade the existing two-track class D access road no. 010806.
