Tests of the Bell Laboratories and Anna Corporation Automatic Radar Equipment used in Conjunction with a Mark 37 Director, Mark 1, Model Computer and a Mark 4 Radar System

Tracking tests were conducted with a scout bomber as the target. Three types of courses were flown: high altitude attack, high altitude pass, and high altitude circle. Four methods of tracking were tried on each type of course: Manual optical, manual radar pip-matching, manual radar meter-centering and fully automatic radar. In all cases, tracking was computer-aided.
