Temperature distributions in an airfoil structure nested externally by linearly decaying heat input were obtained with the aid of the University of California Thermal Analyser.nThe data are presented and discussed in terms of the effects of changes in the duration of the thermal input, unit thermal convective conductance. Contact resistance between airfoil skin and stringers, and placement of stringers along the airfoil skin.
