STERILIZATION OF WATER BY OZONE UNDER ARCTIC CONDITIONS

Preliminary to the biological investigations, the chemistry and kinetics of ozone solutions were studied and an evaluation was made of the different mensuration methods for ozone in solution.n A comparison of the iodide, bromide and ferrous techniques for the determination of ozone demonstrates a good correlation of these methods. The importance of the use of bromide in the determination of ozone is discussed.
