Measurements of the microwave permeabilities u 11and = (U2-K2)/U. were made at a frequency of 9230 Mc using a cavity perturbation technique. Samples in the form of thin slabs were used. Both the static magnetic field and the temperature were varied. The temperature ranged from 25°to 150°C and the magnetic fields were varied from zero to 2000 oversets. Qualitative agreement between theory and experiment was obtained for all the materials tested. Both and u11 were found to increase with increasing temperature and de creasing magnetization in the range of magnetic fields investigated.
